It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? [95]

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment, and er… add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

I didn’t get a whole lot of reading or blogging in this week. But I did do a TON of research for the sequel to my first novel, and I wrote about 1,200 words over the weekend. 🙂

What I Finished Last Week:

Gathering-BlueGathering Blue

By Lois Lowry

This was a re-read for me. I’ve been re-reading lots of books from my childhood. And although I didn’t read this one until a couple summers ago, I wish I would have read this whole series when I was growing up.

You are a BadassYou are a Badass

By Jen Sincero

I listened to the audiobook of this one, and enjoyed it very much. I’m sure I’ll be listening to it again a few times before I glean all of the information she actually shared in the book.

What I’m Currently Reading:

Jumping Puddles by Rachael Brownell

The Princess by Ariel MacArran

UnEnchanted by Chanda Hahn

Save the Cat by Blake Snyder

Sea of Stars by Amy A. Bartol (Audiobook) (I’m SO close to finishing this one!)

What’s Up Next?

It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover

The Edge of Juniper by Lora Richardson

Against All Odds by Rebecca Yarros

**As always, What’s Up Next? is subject to change.**

  1. It is sometimes nice to revisit books from childhood (or a couple of years ago). I wish I had time to do more of that but there are so many unread books on my stacks that I almost feel guilty when I re-read. Come see what I accomplished last week here. Happy reading!

  2. I read It Ends With Us last month – it was my first Colleen Hoover and I loved it!

Little reading and blogging is totally okay when you’re busy working on writing. I hope you had some interesting stuff to research.

I hope you have a great week!

  3. I’ve heard a lot of love for You Are A Badass. I think I need to check if my library has it. Couldn’t we all use a motivational push??

    Happy reading!
